Ingredients

8 ounces elbow macaroni

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Make the Cheese Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir constantly until warm. Gradually add the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

Add Honey and Mustard: Stir in the honey, Dijon mustard, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) into the cheese sauce until fully incorporated.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked macaroni and chicken to the cheese sauce. Stir well to combine, ensuring that the pasta and chicken are coated evenly with the creamy sauce.

Serve: Remove from heat and transfer to serving bowls. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
