Ingredients
  

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons olive oil, divided

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 avocado, sliced

1 cup corn (fresh, frozen, or roasted)

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños, crumbled feta cheese, sour cream or Greek yogurt, hot sauce

Instructions
 

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and honey or maple syrup. Add the sliced flank steak and coat well. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

    Cook the Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until seared and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

      Prepare the Bowl: In serving bowls, layer the cooked rice as the base. Top with the sliced steak, cherry tomatoes, avocado, corn, diced red bell pepper, and black beans.
