1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 large egg, beaten

1/4 cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken: In a large bowl, mix together the cornstarch, flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the beaten egg and stir until the mixture is combined into a batter. Toss in the chicken pieces, ensuring they are well coated.

    Heat the Oil: In a large frying pan, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the heat by dropping a small bit of the batter into the oil; it should sizzle immediately.
