Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

4 whole wheat burger buns

Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and aioli sauce

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown.

While the burgers are cooking, you can prepare your burger buns by toasting them lightly if desired.

Once the burgers are cooked, assemble your burger by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add your favorite toppings such as sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and a dollop of aioli sauce.

Top with the other half of the bun, and your White Cheddar and Spinach Chicken Burgers are ready to serve!
